Terms of Service

Effective 30 August 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and LefamTech, Lda, a company registered in Mozambique that operates Appvise ("Appvise", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Appvise, you agree to them. If you use Appvise for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

1. The service

Appvise is an AI-assisted platform for creating, hosting, and operating web and mobile apps. Features may change as the product develops. Preview, beta, and trial features may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding agreement. Keep your information accurate and your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite to your workspace. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Your content and apps

You keep your rights in the prompts, files, code, app definitions, and data you submit to Appvise ("Customer Content"). As between you and Appvise, and to the extent the law allows, you also own the output generated for you. Output may not be unique, and third-party or open-source components may have their own licences.

You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, copy, transmit, display, and otherwise process Customer Content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. We may give the same limited permission to our service providers. This licence ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except where we must retain it by law.

You are responsible for your apps and their end-users. This includes having the rights to Customer Content, providing any required privacy notice, obtaining any required consent, and complying with the laws that apply to the app. When Appvise processes personal data for you, our Data Processing Addendum applies.

4. AI output

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, insecure, or similar to output produced for someone else. Review and test what Appvise creates before you publish or rely on it. Appvise is not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not designed for safety-critical use.

5. Plans, billing, and credits

Current prices, plan limits, credit allowances, renewal periods, and expiry rules are shown on our pricing page or at checkout. Those details form part of these Terms. Credits are service units, not money: they have no cash value and may not be sold or transferred. We do not charge metered overage unless you expressly agree to it.

Paid subscriptions are charged in advance and renew automatically unless the checkout says otherwise. You can cancel before the next renewal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Payments are non-refundable except where the checkout terms say otherwise or the law requires a refund. Purchases are processed by our payment provider and may be sold by Polar as merchant of record. Its buyer terms and privacy notice are shown at checkout.

We may change prices or plan limits. A change to an existing paid subscription applies no earlier than its next renewal after reasonable notice.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Appvise, or allow an app you publish to be used, to:

  • break the law, commit fraud, impersonate someone, phish, scam, or send spam;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • harass, exploit, threaten, or endanger anyone, especially a child;
  • distribute malware, attack systems, or bypass security, access, or usage limits;
  • scrape or overload the service, evade a suspension, or misuse credits; or
  • reverse engineer the service or use it or its output to build or train a competing AI app-generation service.

Do not submit payment-card data, protected health information, biometric data, government identifiers, or other highly regulated data unless Appvise has confirmed in writing that the relevant service and plan support it.

We may investigate suspected abuse and suspend or remove content, apps, or accounts that breach these rules. We will give notice and a chance to fix the issue when reasonable, but may act immediately to protect people, customers, or the platform. Report abuse through our report page or at abuse@appvise.ai.

7. Published apps and third-party services

You are the publisher of your apps. Appvise-owned domains and subdomains remain ours, and we may reclaim or disable them to address abuse, infringement, security, or legal requirements. If your plan includes an Appvise badge, do not hide or remove it.

If you connect a database, API, payment provider, or another third-party service, that service's terms apply. You are responsible for the connection, its credentials, and the data you instruct Appvise to send to it. We are not responsible for a third-party service outside our control.

8. Availability and support

We work to keep Appvise available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. There is no uptime or support-response guarantee unless we agree one with you in writing. We may limit or discontinue a feature on reasonable notice where practical, or immediately for security or legal reasons.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Appvise or delete your account at any time. Account settings explain which workspaces and data will be deleted; shared workspaces may remain and remove only your access. Save anything you need before deletion.

We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, non-payment, fraud, security risk, or legal requirement. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and governing law—will survive.

10. Appvise intellectual property

Appvise and its licensors own the platform, documentation, branding, and materials we provide, excluding Customer Content. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them only through the service and within your plan. If you send feedback, we may use it without restriction or payment to you.

11. Disclaimers

Appvise is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the service or AI output will be accurate, secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Our total liability for all claims relating to Appvise will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100 if you paid us nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Indemnity

If you use Appvise on behalf of a business, you will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from your apps, Customer Content, end-users, or breach of these Terms or the law. This does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our breach of these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting the new version here. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will give reasonable advance notice by email or in-product, unless an urgent legal or security issue requires a faster change. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and general terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mozambique. The courts of Maputo have jurisdiction, without taking away any mandatory consumer right you have under the law where you live. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, reorganisation, or sale of the business. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the DPA where applicable, and any order form are the entire agreement for the service.
