Event RSVP

Run an event from the invite to the door without a spreadsheet.

Upcoming Events is the home screen: every event you have published, soonest first, with its date, venue, and a live count of confirmed guests. Tap one to open Event Detail — the full description, the venue, how many seats are left against the capacity you set, and the guest list. Anyone holding the app can RSVP yes or no in a single tap, or add a guest by name and email on the spot.

Check-In is the screen you hand to whoever is working the door. Pick the event, search the guest list by name, and flip each arrival to checked in. A running "23 of 40 checked in" counter tells you the room without a headcount, and the toggle is reversible, so a mis-tap costs a second rather than an argument at the entrance.

What you get out of the box:

• Three events and a starter guest list seeded in, so the app is worth opening before you type anything.
• An events table (name, date, venue, description, capacity) and an rsvps table (event, attendee name, email, status, checked in) already wired to the two screens.
• Capacity awareness — the confirmed count sits next to the limit you set, so you see a room filling up before it overflows.
• Everything editable in the chat: add a waitlist, collect dietary notes, email the guest list, or split check-in by ticket type.

Good for meetups, workshops, church and community gatherings, class sessions, launch nights, and any door where a paper list currently gets lost. Clone it, replace the seeded events with yours, and share the app with your team before the next one.
